Catwoman Oozes Inner Lady Killer in New 'Dark Knight Rises' Picture

A brand new photo of Catwoman in "The Dark Knight Rises" has been unleashed. The image presents a closer look at Anne Hathaway in the super-tight catsuit, complete with its iconic mask and sexy thigh-high boots. She is pictured oozing her inner villainess as she gives a deadly stare while carrying a gun in her hand.

Hathaway's Catwoman has recently been featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly's April issue along with Christian Bale's Batman. During a chat with the magazine, Hathaway opened up about how she has undergone a drastic physical transformation to portray Catwoman a.k.a Selina Kyle.

"I had to physically transform," said Hathaway. "Chris sat me down at the beginning and said, 'Joseph Gordon-Levitt did all of his own fighting in 'Inception'. That one zero-gravity fight? He trained for two months.' I basically left his office and went to the gym and just came out about five minutes ago."

Director Christopher Nolan added that in his vision, Catwoman is a "shift cipher, calloused survivor, and world-class criminal." He said, "She has a very strong way of protecting herself and those she cares about, which implies an underlying darkness."

In the chat, Nolan also spoke up about his approach to lead villain Bane, explaining that the terrorist leader "represents formidable physical strength, combined with absolute evil of intention."

Tom Hardy, who tackles the part of Bane, chimed in as commenting on the "Bane's muffling voice" issue that stole the attention a few months ago. "It's a risk, because we could be laughed at - or it could be very fresh and exciting," he said. The English actor added that the audience shouldn't get "too concerned about the mumbly voice."

"The Dark Knight Rises" has just received a PG-13 rating from the MPAA due to its "intense sequences of violence and action, some sensuality and language." Also starring Marion Cotillard, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman, the much awaited DC Comics movie will open wide in the U.S. on July 20.
