Justin Bieber Completed His Manila Concert Despite Vomiting Backstage

Tight schedule of My World world tour, which included North America, Europe and Asia, apparently has taken its toll on Justin Bieber's health condition. Fresh off his Australian leg of the tour, the Canadian popstar headed to Manila for another show, but he fell ill just before hitting the stage.

Refusing to let down his Philippine fans, Bieber went ahead with the concert which took place at SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on May 10. He wrote on Twitter before the gig, "sick as a dog...but the show must go on. got called a trooper. lol. LEGGO." Minutes later, he posted another Tweet, "#teambieber #wegohard MANILA! SHOWTIME!!"

Rumor has it, Bieber suffered from a bad chest infection, and "was seen vomiting backstage in between songs." A source told Perez Hilton, "Justin was advised to either cancel the show or do an abbreviated set. But he insisted on going on. So they cut down the show, but once the show started he kept going."

Hours later after the concert, Bieber tweeted, "That show was great but tough. real sick. time to rest." He went on to thank fans for their support, "IthankYou for always supporting me and helping me live my dream. IthankYou for being the most loyal amazing fans in the world. even when im sick feels good to come on here and see the love. gonna rest up and hope to get better. ITHANKYOU."

Justin Bieber got two days off before he flies to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan for other shows. Last week, the Japan gigs were thrown into jeopardy when members of his crew reportedly refused to visit the country over safety concerns due to its nuclear-radiation issue. But, the teen pop sensation assured his Japanese devotees that the shows will go ahead as planned.
