Jay Baruchel Turns Dark in 'Good Neighbors' Trailer

From a low self-esteemed lover in "She's Out of My League" to a dragon-loving boy in "How to Train Your Dragon", Jay Baruchel continues to evolve himself in terms of roles. Audience may see a dark side of him in Magnolia's thriller "Good Neighbors" which trailer and poster have just been released.

Premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year, the film is starring Baruchel as one of the tenants in a building which is located in a dangerous neighborhood. Emily Hampshire and Scott Speedman portray the other two. These three have bonded over their fascination with a recent string of murders terrorizing their community. But they soon discover, each of them has their own dark secret.

The pic highlights on the main characters' insecurities and fears, serving a psychological thriller spiced with smart dialogue, strong performances and jarring thrills. Jacob Tierney wrote the script and directed Baruchel for the second time after "The Trotsky". "Good Neighbors" which eliminates the U in the title for American release, will hit limited theaters on July 29.
