Britney Spears to Fight Bullies for Obama's Campaign

Britney Spears is using her star power to fight bullies as part of U.S. President Barack Obama's latest campaign. The American leader and his wife Michelle are hosting a bullying prevention conference in the White House on Thursday, March 10, and the pop superstar is lending her support to the cause.

Taking to her Twitter page, the "Toxic" hitmaker has issued a plea to put an end to taunting in schools, following a recent spate of teen suicides in the U.S. that were linked to bullying. Spears writes, "Stop bullying now. Anti bullying is an issue very close to my heart. I am honored that President Obama & the First Lady asked me to join this campaign."

The singer and mum-of-two also posted a link to a video of the Obamas urging kids to "treat each other with respect".
