Lindsay Lohan to Be Charged on Wednesday, Sued Over Tanning Bill

Los Angeles County district attorney's officials have confirmed they'll be charging actress Lindsay Lohan with one count of felony grand theft on suspicion of stealing a $2,500 necklace on Wednesday, February 9. Weekend reports suggested the "Mean Girls" star would be charged on Monday, February 7, but that date was pushed back.
The owner of a Venice, California store has accused Lohan of stealing the "one of a kind necklace" last month. An associate of the actress handed over the alleged stolen item to police as the authorities were preparing to raid the star's home last week.

Lohan, 24, is currently on supervised probation for a drunk driving conviction and if the judge overseeing her case rules she violated her probation by taking the necklace, the actress faces 180 days in jail. Lohan maintains the jewelery item was loaned to her.

Her legal woes continue to mount with a lawsuit over an alleged unpaid tanning bill. Tanning Vegas owner Lorit Simon claims she spray-tanned the troubled actress from 2007 to 2009, but has not yet been paid for her services.

Simon is demanding Lohan settle the $41,031 debt, as well as pay for her legal fees and interest, according to a lawsuit filed in Nevada last week and obtained by TMZ.com. It's not the first time Simon has gone head-to-head with her former client - she sued the 24-year-old star in 2009, accusing her of stealing the formula for her tanning spray and selling it under her Sevin Nyne label.
